What’s in an APD truck?
More than fuel, and yes, probably a very prepared driver.
What’s in our trucks?
When our drivers head out for the day, there is more rolling through town than just fuel. There is local know-how, customer details, safety awareness, and the kind of experience that helps keep our wheels turning when Fairbanks decides to add a little personality.
✔️Fuel for Real Life
APD has kept daily life moving since 1981.
That means delivering heating fuel for a family trying to stay comfortable when temperatures drop, diesel for equipment that has work to do, or service for a job site where timing matters.
Around here, fuel is not a nice-to-have. It keeps Fairbanks on track. The product matters, of course. So does the service behind it.
✔️A Driver Who Knows the Road
To us, the person behind the wheel matters just as much as what is in the tank.
Our drivers know these neighborhoods, these windy roads, and the little details that do not always show up on a screen. A GPS can get you close. A local driver who knows which driveway gets dramatic after a freeze is even better.
✔️A Backup Plan
Dependable service starts well before our drivers pull up.
Routes are checked. Site access, road conditions, construction, and safety concerns are all part of the conversation. When something changes, because of course something might change, the team has to be ready to adjust.
We recently pulled back the curtain on more of that behind-the-scenes coordination on our National Logistics Day blog. Give it a read here.
So, What’s Really in the Truck?
Yes, there is fuel. And there is also a prepared driver, a team paying attention, and a whole lot of practical problem-solving behind every stop.
