We’ve been serving Fairbanks since 1981, so we’ve had a few decades to learn that no two days are alike.

We pride ourselves on excellence in every delivery, and around here, that starts way before a truck rolls into the driveway. Great service means securing fuel, navigating supply chains, and moving it hundreds of miles to reach Fairbanks, often through conditions that aren’t exactly “light jacket weather.”

Our team coordinates multiple grades of fuel at the same time, from diesel for mining equipment to home heating fuel for families trying to stay comfortable when temperatures drop.

It all takes flexibility, redundancies built into the chain, and backup plans for our backup plans.

Good logistics depends on good communication. At APD, that looks like regular check-ins on details like site access, construction, and safety concerns.

Operations Manager Eric Wardlaw also leads weekly safety meetings with the crew, where drivers share what they’re seeing in the field.

As Eric puts it, “They’re the ones out there. They’re your first line of defense.”

That road-tested knowledge makes a difference. It helps the team spot issues earlier and avoid turning small surprises into full-blown plot twists.
